POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields expertise including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect needed repairs.
Perform minor electrical maintenance including the replacement or repair of fixtures, switches, bulbs, fuses, outlets, and appliances.
Perform minor plumbing maintenance such as the repair of leaks, unclogging of drains and the replacement of drain hoses.
Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work.
Reconfigure, install, position, and remount modular offices to accommodate user needs.
Move furniture and prepare workspaces and other items as requested.
Document all work in CMMS and maintain required documents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be able to work flexible hours which may including nights and weekends.
Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
All applicants must have a High school diploma or Trade or Vocational School; and have at least 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance to include HVAC experience and a basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
EPA Universal Certification Required.
Applicants must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, drawings and memos.
Applicants must have the ability to write correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on-one situations.
Applicants must also have basic computer and mathematics skills.
