Summary

Ensure and promote safety, stewardship, integrity, and quality per the Milo’s Mission with a focus on continuously improving the integrity of our inventory management procedures.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing inventory transactions in ERP and WMS to ensure accuracy and consistency. 

  • Monitor and report on daily counts to ensure completion for both raw materials and finished goods.  

  • Validates and closes daily cycle counts in Sage X3 ERP on a continuous basis throughout the day. 

  • Investigate/troubleshoot inventory issues and work with internal stakeholders as needed to determine solutions.  

  • Researches and provides resolution to variances with both raw materials and finished goods. 

  • Assist with material location implementation and management between the Inventory Management and Warehouse Teams. 

  • Works closely with the Warehouse or Shipping departments to ensure that non-conforming or expired materials are tagged as such and properly disposed of or returned in a timely manner.  

  • Assist with monitoring of warehouses or inventory storage areas helping to ensure maintaining proper order and SQF compliance. 

  • Frequently reviews ERP/WMS inventory transactions to ensure data accuracy and that materials are in correct locations and being consumed or pulled correctly in FIFO order.  

  • Assist with mapping warehouse capacity per site and frequently monitor capacity levels.  

  • Communicates inventory issues, process inefficiencies, or irregularities discovered throughout the inventory management process. 

  • Assist with design and implementation of inventory management best practices in the warehouses and cooler with a focus on continuous improvement and FIFO. 

  • Assists with recording and tracking monthly inventory management metrics and KPI’s. 

  • Adheres to inventory management standards and ethics.  

  • Assists with the facilitation of year-end physical inventory. 

  • Ability to serve as backup to Inventory Specialist.  

  • Communicates with Operations and Planning concerning WO management or assists with balancing/closing work orders.  

  • This position will collaborate and communicate closely with the Warehouse, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Accounting TEAms.  

  • Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.  

  • This position has food Safety Responsibilities.  

  • Other responsibilities, as necessary.  

Qualifications

  • ERP and WMS experience, preferably Sage X3, Mobe 3, or SAP. 

  • Inventory process experience. 

  • All applicants must have either a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related field and 3 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

  • All applicants must have the ability to perform basic mathematical functions, the ability to prepare correspondence, and the ability to effectively present information. 

  • To perform this job successfully an individual should have proficient knowledge of MS Office applications.
