POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring all items received are unloaded, recorded and delivered to the appropriate company representative.

 

This is an overnight shift with hours of 5:30pm to 6:00am. Some weekend work required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record and process inventory transactions of raw materials and finished goods.

  • Ensure trucks are cleaned and sanitized following SQF policies specifications.

  • Examine incoming shipments and reject and report any discrepancies to management.

  • Process receipts in Sage X3 in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Deliver packages to appropriate company representative.

  • Coordinate all returns for finished product pallets.

  • Rotate delivery of raw materials in storage area and warehouse racks according to FIFO.

  • Log drop trailers that are staged in trailer parking lot by contents, date, and trailer number.

  • Secure chemicals inside or above the caged racking when products are received.

  • Empty corrugated trailers, when possible, and keep warehouse racks stocked.

  • Assist with cycle counts, raw material staging, and stock transactions.

  • Inspect warehouse equipment, including forklifts and docking equipment, for defects.

  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.

  • Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.

  • Invest in and is an example of Milo’s Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • All applicants must have either a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent organizational skills and computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
