Position Summary:

The Network Architect will design, maintain, and optimize Milo’s IT network, collaborating closely with both IT and Manufacturing teams to ensure network resiliency. This role involves participating in network architecture design for infrastructure refreshes, new installations, improving documentation, validating configurations, and security enhancements and remediation.

• Design and implement robust network solutions to support business needs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Configure and maintain network hardware, such as routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Automate processes so that systems adhere to best practices and documentation is up to date
• Ensure network security by implementing best practices and regularly updating systems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and optimize network efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation to support critical business infrastructure.

Supervisory:

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience planning and maintaining enterprise class networks in a team environment
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems or related field is desired.
• Prior experience managing projects with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability
• Prior experience with Manufacturing Organizations is desired.
• Prior experience in Azure Networking is desired.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a willingness to consider coaching and feedback.
• Ability to communicate and prioritize tasks in a growing company.
