Position Summary

This role will be supporting Operations and Supply Chain in financial planning, analysis, and projection of company finances and assets.  This includes serving as a financial business partner in the development of long-term strategic plans, forecasts, budgets and financial reviews to guide and influence short and long-term financial initiatives. 

 

Ownership

  • Act as financial business partner to our Operations & Supply Chain Teams.
  • Administration of Operations CapEx including modeling, forecasting, tracking, analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain processes and tools to perform ROI analysis in key initiatives and projects. 
  • Review and analyze various financial improvement initiatives including modeling and generating creative alternatives and recommendations for managing COGS, headcount, and related operational expenses.
  • Analyze and report on all profitability and margin trends as needed.
  • Develop and update executive presentations to summarize results, plans/forecasts, and various ad-hoc analysis.
  • Assist staff by providing information needed for forecast and budget preparation, implementation, and control.
  • Perform forecasting & budgeting variance and forecasting analysis for various levels of management.
  • Support the Sales & Operations planning cycle.
  • Develop models and slides for the monthly financial reviews which will be presented to the Executive Team.
  • Assist on all Board of Director presentations and ad hoc analysis as required.
  • Work closely with Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer on various projects.
  • Assist in communication efforts with specific business groups as needed to ensure common understanding of co-owned initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  Invest in and is an example of Milo’s Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components.
  • The position has Food Safety Responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Must have a four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field
  • All applicants must have advanced experience with enterprise-level accounting software and Office 365 applications including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • 3-5 years experience in financial planning and analysis or related field required
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills
  • Process-oriented with great attention to details
  • Candidate must be comfortable navigating systems and utilizing data to enhance understanding
  • Power BI or related data visualization experience strongly preferred
  • SAP experience is preferred
