Position Summary:
We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Creative Director to lead our creative team reporting to the VP of Marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping the visual and conceptual direction of our brand, ensuring consistency across consumer, customer and enterprise-wide touchpoints. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative flair, and leadership skills with proven results and to drive innovative creative solutions, assets, and campaigns that resonate with our audience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute creative strategies and overall creative vision that align with brand identity and business goals.
Lead creative team to develop compelling visual assets including iconography and copy that resonates with the audience, while continuing to evolve the brand.
Partner with external agencies and key internal team members to develop and execute creative content, such as marketing materials, digital and print ads, packaging, social, etc. to achieve business objectives"
Conceptualize, own, executive and enforce comprehensive brand guidelines and standards for copy, graphics, photography, and video.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technical capabilities, ad types, and best practices by media type/channel.
Champion and promote creative processes and guidelines across the enterprise.
Present creative work to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Lead various advertising campaigns, working closely with internal and/or external partners from concept phase to execution.
Oversee the development, production, and post-production for photoshoots of new and existing products and lifestyle-driven photography.
Continually seek creative opportunities to improve brand equity through owned channels like website, digital assets, social, merchandise, and more.
Work cross-functionally to immerse in the product and brand and execute on business needs and objectives.
Manage the creative budget and allocate resources effectively.
Supervisory:
This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in related design, copy, or content roles, including at least 5 years managing creative teams, preferably with CPG industry experience.
Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative leadership role.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects and campaigns.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing) and/or Figma.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems.
Passion for the beverage industry and a keen eye for detail.
Conceptual rigor and creativity across various projects, from trend-based content to large integrated campaigns.
Strong sense of typography, layout, hierarchy, and keen eye for photography and illustration.
Experience with production cycles and processes, including on-set experience.
Understanding of best practices for social media and digital advertising.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume, and ambiguous environments.
Proactive self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to quickly grasp visual brand identity and voice, while pushing into new visual territories within brand guidelines.
