Position Summary:

Responsible for leading marketing and brand communication strategy and implementation to grow Milo’s authentic, unique position in the marketplace.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies focusing on data-driven, cross-functional plans to lead consumer and customer marketing. Strategic programs may include go-to-market planning, shopper marketing (omnichannel), sales enablement, new product introduction, advertising, social media, DTC program development, field marketing and events, and demand generation.
  • Lead a talented team while nurturing Milo’s strong culture, entrepreneurial spirit and TEAm values and provide strategic and tactical support to ensure success of programs and goals including:
  • Define, develop, and integrate clear product positioning and messaging, differentiating our products and resonating with target core and expansion markets and consumer segments.

  • Blend consumer and customer insights through an entrepreneurial lens, competitive analyses and other market intelligence to accelerate brand awareness and dominance and grow Household Penetration.

  • Create and track optimal ROI of brand activation to ensure the right spend on the right strategies while pivoting when necessary to maximize impact.

  • Actively participate in the sales process and bring the marketing lens to ensure ongoing alignment between marketing and sales on how to deliver against consumer and customer needs and objectives.

  • Partner with cross functional teams on product launches and integration activities to drive brand awareness and demand.

  • Lead the development of multiyear Marketing Plan and Budget designed to increase brand awareness and drive Household Penetration within established brand guardrails with an entrepreneurial lens. Build and get alignment on the long-term destination for all aspects of brand development. 

  • Contribute to the strategic planning process; facilitate departmental and company-wide adoption of strategic initiatives and deliver performance measures to support the strategy.

  • Work with the Executive Team and all functions to continuously improve corporate efficiency and effectiveness; drive sales and savings; and cultivate a departmental and corporate culture focused on team and corporate values.
  • Responsible for coaching, developing, and advancing marketing and brand communications team members with a focus on best in-class capabilities, bench strength, cross functional TEAmwork and TEAm member growth.
  • Strongly support Milo’s Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social and corporate governance components.
  • This position is responsible for holding immaculate standards of Food Safety.

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years of consumer-packaged goods industry experience required, with food or beverage preferred.
