Position Summary:
The Vice President of Accounting has responsibility for oversight of Milo’s accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This leader plays a critical role in partnering with all functions within the company to ensure strong internal control processes and accurate financial records. Responsible for driving continuous improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting processes.
- Drives continuous improvement in accounting processes and procedures to facilitate timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Leads key accounting initiatives focusing on strengthening business partnerships, improving support for operational decision-making, and building capability within the team.
- Collaborates with all functions to analyze accounting implications for business transactions.
- Implements robust financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate financial risks. Coordinates internal and external audits and oversees implementation of recommendations.
- Manages relationship with various internal/external parties (auditors, consultants, counsel).
- Remains well-informed of accounting and finance regulations, and as appropriate, manages any changes to ensure organizational compliance.
- Develops Accounting TEAm members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Stewards financial processes within ERP and associated financial systems.
- Externally benchmarks to bring best-in-class thinking, processes, and tools.
- Manages and participates in special projects and work assignments as necessary.
- Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
- Other responsibilities, as necessary.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 10+ years of accounting and finance experience.
- CPA required.
- Knowledge of GAAP and relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations related to financial accounting.
