Position Summary:

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting public affairs initiatives that drive community engagement, stakeholder relations, and brand credibility. You will help execute strategic programs, manage external partnerships, and amplify our company’s impact across key audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale a high-impact function in a fast-growing company.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of community engagement initiatives that enhance brand trust.

  • Lead the strategic effort to scale existing corporate giving initiatives to support Milo’s expanding footprint.

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, policymakers, nonprofits, and industry organizations.

  • Assist in planning and managing partnerships, sponsorships, and recognition programs to position Milo’s as a trusted community partner.

  • Help coordinate and support local events, town halls, and community forums to strengthen public engagement.

  • Administer Milo’s 1% Profit Pledge in alignment with annual budget by evaluation of incoming corporate giving requests and making recommendations in alignment with Milo’s Corporate Giving Focus Areas. 

  • Support design and own coordination of volunteer events in communities nationwide. 

  • Identify and implement expanded associate giving programs including onsite and virtual volunteer opportunities. 

  • Coordinate attendance and associate engagement in community events and fundraisers. 

  • Uphold and demonstrate leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.

  • This position has food Safety Responsibilities.

  • Other responsibilities, as necessary.

 

Supervisory: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in nonprofit or government affairs or equivalent required.

  • Demonstrated relationship building experience a must.

  • Strong communications skills including public speaking and media engagement preferred.
