Position Summary:
As a Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for managing people, process, and systems to ensure accurate inventory management and material flow to support a highly efficient manufacturing system. This role will require an in depth understanding of inventory management and warehouse execution systems, effective communication across multiple departments, analytical abilities that allow for effective root cause investigations and a track record of leading by influence to rollout sustainable process improvements across multiple sites.
Must reside within 60 miles of Birmingham, AL, Spartanburg, SC, or Tulsa, OK.
Responsibilities:
Establish, communicate, train, and maintain an inventory control policy for raw materials and finished goods at all locations
Create standard work processes and procedures that to ensure accurate movement and tracking of inventory across receiving, warehousing, production, and distribution
Provide support and contribute to development and rollout of company-wide ERP system upgrade
Lead year-end physical inventory counts at all required locations
Develop and deliver portfolio of inventory control metrics and dashboards to enable real-time feedback of inventory transactions to front line leaders and associates
This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality
Other responsibilities, as necessary.
Supervisory: This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Related Field required
5+ years experience in Distribution / Warehouse setting or supply chain management role
Food/beverage and/or CPG experience preferred
Experience with ERP, WMS, and WES required

The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
