Position Summary

The Infrastructure Architect will design, maintain, and optimize Milo’s IT server architecture, collaborating closely with both IT and Manufacturing teams to ensure server resiliency. This role involves participating in server architecture design for infrastructure refreshes, new installations, improving documentation, validating configurations, and security enhancements and remediation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Architect resilient server solutions that align with business objectives and scalability requirements.

  • Monitor and analyze server performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.

  • Define and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery requirements and solutions.

  • Automate system processes to enforce best practices and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation.

  • Enforce server security protocols by applying industry standards and performing regular system updates.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, data, and security teams to integrate new technologies and continuously improve server efficiency.

  • Participate in on-call rotation to support critical business infrastructure.

  • Upholds and demonstrates leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.

  • This position has food Safety Responsibilities.

  • Other responsibilities, as necessary.

Supervisory: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience planning and maintaining enterprise class server infrastructure in a team environment

  • Proficient in administering on-prem and cloud Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems or related field is desired.

  • Prior experience managing projects with a focus on scalability, resilience, and maintainability

  • Prior experience with Manufacturing Organizations is desired.

  • Prior experience in cloud infrastructure is desired.

  • Prior experience administering storage area network (SAN) devices is desired.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a willingness to consider coaching and feedback.

  • Ability to communicate and prioritize tasks in a growing company.

 

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
