Position Summary
The Shipping Technician I is responsible for the proper movement of finished product from prodution to the cooler racking for storage.
Ownership
-
Complete pre-shift inspection of forklifts and submit required daily inspection paperwork.
-
Ensure proper rotation of product is loaded using FIFO system.
-
Operate powered or manual low-lift trucks in a safe manner.
-
Inspect trailers for cleanliness based on SQF guidelines.
-
Ensure all paperwork has been completed for pre/post shift activities.
-
Log finished product in inventory when placed on cooler racks.
-
Ensure assigned areas is cleaned and sanitized per SSO guidelines.
-
Ensure utilization of dock locks when loading trucks.
-
Ensure all forklifts are placed on charge before leaving for the day.
-
Inspect loading equipment for defects and report deficiencies to management.
-
Inspect trailers meet required temperature of 36 degrees before loading product.
-
Responsible for the distribution of product donations as requested.
-
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
-
Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
-
Invest in and is an example of Milo’s Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components.

This position has responsibilities related to Food Quality and Safety.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
-
Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Applicants must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.
-
A valid driver’s license and a forklift and electric pallet jack certification will be required upon job placement.
-
Required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms.
-
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
-
Comfortable being exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, occasionally exposed to extreme cold.

Position Summary
The Facility Controller is a key leader on the Facility leadership team. Contributes to all areas of Facility management and provides strong financial leadership. The Facility Controller is responsible for planning and coordinating Facility budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the Facility and provide recommendations to improve site performance.
- Collaborates with Facility Manager and other leaders to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis

Monitor and implement Facility internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks
-
Review and analyze various financial improvement initiatives including modeling and generating creative alternatives and recommendations for managing COGS, headcount, and related operational expenses
-
Direct the preparation and analysis of the annual strategic plan, capital plan, monthly operating results, trends, capital projects and operating forecasts in order to meet facility objectives
-
Analyze variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions
-
Must work across organization boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve Facility or corporate objectives
-
Shares best practices across finance team, e.g. process improvements, financial modeling and procedures changes
-
Provides proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions
-
Ensures proper accounting in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as well as local statutory requirements
-
Act as financial business partner to our Operations & Supply Chain Teams.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician I performs diversified maintenance duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support the business goals and objectives.
Ownership
-
Perform all assigned preventative work order task safely and in a timely manner.
-
Complete work entries in CMMS system for downtime tracking.
-
Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production operations.
-
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of machines.
-
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust machines.
-
Document all machine malfunctions to track machine efficiency.
-
Perform routine visual inspections of machinery and equipment.
-
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report findings or solutions to supervisor.
-
Follow safety policy and procedures to include, but not limited to, lock out-tag-out, hot work permit and confined spaces.

Must be willing to work alternating shifts including nights and weekends.

Position Summary
The Production Trainee is responsible for carrying out all routine operations and operating equipment within the plant.
Ownership

Safely operate all production machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, hoses, etc.

Manually handle cased goods around manufacturing area.

Follow all safety rules and requirements and GMP guidelines.

Weigh and prepare raw materials for processing.
-
Provide coverage for line operators during assigned rest periods.

Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.

Work with fellow operators as a team to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.

Assist maintenance with troubleshooting equipment problems.

Perform general housekeeping and plant clean up as needed.
